Carrollton (TX) Fire Department ambulance service accredited

The City of Carrollton (TX) Fire Department recently was awarded accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services. The accreditation process included completing a comprehensive application and an on-site review by national experts in emergency medical services.

The Commission, a nonprofit organization, was established to encourage and promote quality patient care in the nation`s medical transportation system. “Accreditation,” Carrollton Fire Department Chief Bruce Varner explains, “represents our firm commitment to our customers and community. We continuously strive to do our best, and we viewed accreditation as another step toward excellence.” He added that the accreditation “can only be a stimulus for continued improvement.”
