The REMEMBRANCE RESCUE PROJECT was created in July 2011 from Rescue 4, a Fire Department of New York (FDNY) apparatus used during 9/11, to serve as a mobile memorial which honors and remembers the events of 9/11 and all fallen firefighters throughout the country. The project is a registered Not-For-Profit, and funds generated are used to restore the Rescue and fund activities for children of firefighters lost in the line of duty throughout the United States. Mutual Aid Box Alarm System—Illinois has provided secure storage for the Rescue in its 70,000-square-foot Readiness Facility. The project is operated by volunteers with the assistance from host fire departments throughout the country. www.therrp.org.

E-ONE received an order for a new HP 100 ladder and two custom Cyclone II pumpers from the Little Rock (AR) Fire Department (LRFD). The three-truck order consists of the LRFD’s second HP 100 ladder and two of the department’s first top-mount pumper configurations. LRFD apparatus committee members walked the E-ONE plant floor to garner ideas from customer units in process when designing their highly custom apparatus. The result was the addition of vista roofs on the pumpers for additional storage and internal compartments to safely house paperwork and binders. www.E-ONE.com. (352) 237-1122.
