USFA funding not in jeopardy
President Bill Clinton`s proposed government spending cuts will not affect the U.S. Fire Administration or the Federal Emergency Management Agency, according to the Congressional Fire Services Institute (CFSI). Pat Patterson, CFSI executive director, after conferring with Congressional Fire Services Caucus members and USFA administrator Carrye Brown, has termed the reports that fire programs would be cut as “nothing more than ill-advised hearsay.”
