Five Chicago (IL) Firefighters Injured in Apparatus Crash

According to a report from CBS2, five members of the Chicago (IL) Fire Department (CFD) were injured after one of their apparatus crashed into a home in the city’s Auburn Gresham neighborhood Monday night. 

The truck crashed near 77th and Damen just before 10 p.m. Witnesses said the emergency lights were flashing when the truck crashed, indicating that it was responding to an emergency. 

Two residents in the home have been displaced.
