Fire Officer Exchange Program Awarded
The Fire Officer Exchange Program between Alexandria, Va., and Dundee (Tayside), Scotland has been awarded the special achievement award for professional exchange. Fire Officer Hill of Tayside studied EMS systems, disaster management, simulation training and fire prevention in several locations, while Alexandria fire officers Beam and Wood studied fire service regionalization, breathing apparatus procedures and training and microcomputer applications.
Sister City International, which presented the award, promotes better understanding among the people of the world.
