The band lost one of its own (a drummer), and one member lost a brother in the attacks. Fire Control Instruments (FCI) introduces the new ADP LOW-FLOW SERIES PHOTOELECTRONIC AIR DUCT SMOKE SENSORS. Low-flow technology enables duct smoke detection throughout a broad range of airflow environments. Sensors detect smoke at air-speed velocities of from 110 to 4,000 feet per minute, providing assistance in difficult but critical smoke detection environments. Sensors operate by sampling air currents passing through the ducts and shut down fans, blowers and air conditioning systems, preventing the spread of toxic smoke and fire gases throughout the protected area. Sensors also communicate electronically with each other and are continuously monitored through a signaling line circuit. Web site: www.firecontrolinstruments.com.
