A written training outline, slides, and handouts comprise the ClOSED CIRCUIT TRAINERS PACKAGE from Biomarine. The package is written to help trainers knowledgeably discuss closed-circuit self-contained breathing apparatus (CC-SCBAs, also called “rebreathers”), which increasingly are being turned to for specialized applications such as hazardous-materials incidents, confined-space rescue, and firefighting in tunnels and high-rises. ■ ELECTRIC AND HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE EMERGENCY RESCUE TRAINING, a training program consisting of a video, brochure, instructor’s manual, overhead transparencies, quickreference field cards, and quick-reference poster, is being distributed by the ACTS Foundation Inc.
