The Frederica (DE) Fire Departmentruns this ALEXIS platform quint out second for structural fires, mainly for rescue and ventilation, says Chief Engineer Bruce Slody. The town has had a large increase in development (mostly townhouses) and the platform offers versatility for different situations. The pump allows the truck to serve as an attack piece if needed.
