A firefighter with the Sparta Township (IN) Fire Department passed away while responding to a medical call, according to the U.S. Fire Administration.
On Monday, May 23, 2022, Firefighter Terry Lee Cassidy, 64, responded to a medical emergency at a residence. While assisting at the scene, Firefighter Cassidy started experiencing symptoms of a heart attack. He was immediately transported to the local hospital where he remained until his passing on Thursday, May 26, 2022.
