Rick McClure shared video and photos from the scene of a recent fire that affected several businesses in the Pacoima area of Los Angeles, California.

More than 70 City of Los Angeles (CA) Fire Department (LAFD) firefighters extinguished the March 29, 2022 fire in 42 minutes with no injuries reported. During an aggressive roof operation by truck companies, firefighters cut a ventilation strip to help prevent the horizontal spread of fire to adjoining units.

There was an initial report of a person inside one of the units, but that individual was located outside and unharmed, according to reports. LAFD officials told reporters the agency employed a transitional attack approach, hitting some fire from the exterior to improve conditions for an interior attack.
