Indianapolis (IN) firefighters responded early Monday, April 19, 2021, to an apartment fire at 2228 Harbor Dr.

First-arriving crews were faced with heavy fire conditions. The fire killed a dog and a cat and displaced seven adults. Four units were damaged in the fire.

One firefighter and two civilians sustained slight injuries, and Indy crews had the fire under control in 15 minutes. According to the Indianapolis Fire Department social media account, the occupant said the fire started with a cell phone charging cord.
