The CONGRESSIONAL FIRE SERVICES INSTITUTE (CFSI) has awarded E. James Monihan the Mason Lankford

The CONGRESSIONAL FIRE SERVICES INSTITUTE (CFSI) has awarded E. James Monihan the Mason Lankford Fire Service Leadership Award. Monihan was honored for his 40 years of involvement with the fire service at the local, state, and federal levels. For 12 years he was chairman of the National Volunteer Fire Council and remains an active member as a delegate to the CFSI National Advisory Committee. Additionally, he is chair of the NVFC`s legislative committee and represented the NVFC on the Blue Ribbon Panel appointed by FEMA Director James Lee Witt. Since 1963, he has been active in the Lewes (DE) Fire Department.
