The Video Services Section of the JACKSONVILLE (FL) FIRE AND RESCUE DEPARTMENT has been awarded The Golden Firefighter Award for the best firefighting training film. The 1995 award was given at the “Video Fuego” international fire video competition in Badajoz, Spain. The department`s submission, “Steuart Tank Farm Fire–4th Alarm,” documents the five-day struggle and unique extinguishment method used to combat the 1993 fire.
