Two firefighters suffered non-life-threatening injuries Saturday while responding to a blaze that rapidly spread throughout a Bowleys Quarters apartment building, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.
The fire department did not immediately say on Sunday how the two firefighters were injured or if they had been released from treatment. The department said Saturday evening on X, formerly Twitter, that the blaze at the Seneca Bay apartment complex had been put out and that the cause was under investigation.
The department said that no civilians were injured in the two-alarm fire on the unit block of Starwood Court, which is across the street from Seneca Elementary School. The American Red Cross is assisting residents who have been displaced by the fire, the department said.
