CT Firefighters Rescue Man After He Lost Consciousness While up in Tree

Sep. 9—WESTON — Local firefighters rescued a man who was stuck in a tree 45 feet from the ground Monday, the Weston Volunteer Fire Department said in a news release.

Weston fire officials said they, along with police and emergency medical personnel, were called at 12:44 p.m. to Davis Hill Road for what was reported as an unconscious person in a tree. When they arrived, fire officials said they found a man who was some 45 feet above the ground in a tree and conscious, but unable to get himself down.

With the help of their ladder truck, fire personnel were able to assist the man to the ground, they said.

The man was then taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, according to fire department officials.
